Battery left few hours

Hello,

I own a Fitbit Charge 6 and have recently noticed a significant drop in battery life — from about 7 days down to less than a single day, without any change in my usage or settings.

All power-consuming features are disabled (GPS, always-on display, non-essential notifications, etc.), and I’ve already restarted the device.

I’ve noticed that my device is currently running firmware version 66.20001.214.24, but I’m not sure whether the issue started right after the update, as it may have installed automatically.

Could you confirm whether this firmware version is known to affect battery life, or let me know if there’s a known fix for this kind of issue?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @fc_fc i went to the firmware page you are at 214.24, and see the latest is 220.21.

Go here for instructions on updating

The update started rolling out on July 14, my now, if you open the Fitbit app, you should see a Pink update button. Tap and follow prompts.

If you have an android phone, after starting the update, move the Fitbit App to the background. Failing to do this, on some phones will cancel the update when the screen turns off.
