I just got my charge 6 a couple of days ago. I was able to set it up and it was fully charged. Seemed to be working fine. This morning screen was blank. Cannot tap it, side button won't do anything, charger doesn't get any response from it and it won't sync. Have others experienced this? Any fixes. I will contact support later but this is very disappointing.

Update to my original post. I continued to have this problem but it wasn't happening as often. So was hoping they would push an update to fix it as it seems to be fairly common. They recently pushed an update and the issue got WORSE! I was having to restart it daily. So did another chat and give the previous case number and advised I wanted a replacement which they are doing. Let's hope the replacement is better than this one! I also can't believe Google can't do better than this with all the technology they have and massive size of the company. Just unacceptable. These devices are no good if they are not on and gathering data. If you are still under warranty and having continuous issues I suggest contacting them.

I'm hoping for an update to fix this too. Mine has gone unresponsive 3 times in 2 months, which is not as bad as some people, but still 3 times too many, expecially since I might not notice for a couple of hours.
Also I've never had any luck using the button on the power cord to restart it - I have been unplugging and reinserting the cable instead.

My Charge 6 has stopped recording sleep and heart data over the last week. I've done a reset but no luck yet. Judging by the number of Fitbit deals they email to me I suspect that Fitbit/google want me to upgrade. Maybe this is their way of pushing new products!
If so, I'm much more likely too upgrade to an Apple Watch or a Garmin. Any opinions on those, anyone?
This also puts me off using Google products in general. If you're going to buy a brand like Fitbit, then make sure works as well or better then before!
Imo the sleep info was pretty unreliable anyway!

Replaced Fit Charge 5 on April 1, 2024 with newer Charge 6. BIG MISTAKE. 5 days later the Charge 6 display vanished. It will no longer charge and all recovery suggestions failed. Best Buy told me they have complaint after another. Fortunately, they returned my money. I have been a Fitbit fan for many years, but no longer. I will look for other devices and not necessarily Fitbit.

I think they got a substantially large batch of faulty Charge 6 devices. I got mine replaced by Fitbit and have had no issues with the replacement. (Have had it since January.) Fitbit has to know this but leave it up to each individual to deal with it. They will lose a lot of customers. It's a shame because when it's working it's a good product with great battery life.

I had the same issue (Purchased at Best Buy in November) except, after communicating directly with Fitbit, they had me send my Charge 6 directly to them. They sent me a replacement and it has never once failed to work. It's been close to 4 months since I received the replacement from Fitbit and I am happy to report it is working flawlessly.

Ok so here we go again. Received the replacement in early January 2024 and it has been working perfectly up until yesterday evening June 26, so roughly 6 months. I have unsuccessfully tried to reboot it. Time to call Fitbit again.

Update, after several failed attempts I was able to reboot my Charge 6 by plugging it in to my computer and pushing the button on the charging cable. It is working once again.

You might try plugging it in to your laptop/desktop and then pushing the reset button on the cable. You need to push and hold then release it. It took me several tries to get it to restart
