Can't force restart Charge 6

Paired fitbit with new phone and wasn't getting notifications, read on here to force a restart - bad advice. Now it's just saying  "download the fitbit mobile app".

The charger is plugged in but when trying to sync via the Fitbit app, the device cannot be located. Have tried pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times to reset. The watch vibrates a little each time but there is no reset happening. Tried this at least 5 times now

Have tried on/off with bluetooth and deleting / reinstalling app.

The Fitbit is completely unresponsive and just shows the "download the fitbit mobile app" message.

Hi, @Whatever24 if you are seeing the message “download the Fitbit app” that means that the Fitbit is no longer set up on your phone.  You mention that you have a new phone.  If you still have the old phone running it is possible that it is interfering with establishing a connection to your new phone.  Make sure the old phone is turned off or Bluetooth is disabled.

Next try to re-setup the Charge 6 on your new phone.  Go to the Fitbit app, and from the opening screen click on the small icon top left (smartphone and watch).  On the next screen find “Set up a device” and choose Charge 6 from the list and follow the instructions from there.
