Hi
Despite raising it for over 6 weeks with customer support I still havent been able to sort out my issue.
I would like to delete first 2 weeks of fitbit data (heart rate, calories etc) as basically i wasnt using the device properly and data is wrong.
I have asked several times (you have to fill in a form specyfying type of data and period) then it says wait few hours or days. I have waited 6 weeks to be finally told its not possible. It is only possible to delete activities (i didnt log in any) but cannot delete health data collected for specific timeframe. I find it unqcceptable - Fitbit says data collected is mine, I want to delete it - why I cannot? I think its a huge privacy breach as you are storing data I am specifically asking to be deleted.

Hello @Michel123 and welcome to the Community. You can delete data, but you must do it by each data type. I'm not sure why Support told you why it would take hours or days to remove data from a small time frame. Here's how to do it from your mobile app:
I want to point out that there is a learning curve for every new user. Fitbit uses your last 30 days of data to calculate some averages. Your first two weeks of data will be irrelevant soon.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Thats exactly what I did - when you process it it says it will take hours or days before data gets deleted from servers (and app). Unfortunately that didnt work - after 2 months I still have data in my app - and no way to delete it..

@Michel123 I'm sorry that Fitbit's own instructions didn't work for you. I never deleted data before. I flagged your post to see if a moderator can help you.
