Cannot get passed QR Code charge 6

Hi I received my charge 6 last night after charging it comes up with a QR code on the fit bit when I scan it on my phone it comes up with 'copy' and copies a load of numbers not actually send me to a site.

Is there another way to connect I've been trying for half hour I've turned my phone on and off, been in Fitbit app to connect just says device not found. 

I'm so confused thank you

Hello @JackieChan90 and welcome to the Community.  A QR code on the screen isn't normal and you might have a defective tracker.  First, please try restarting your Charge 6:

  • Place your Charge 6 in the charging cable attached to a power source
  • Press the button that is on the flat end of the charging cable (near the USB connector) 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second
  • Wait about 10 seconds for the Fitbit logo to appear
  • Try again after 15 seconds if the QR code reappears

If you get the screen you should see -- a scrolling screen asking you to download the Fitbit app, continue with the rest of the setup.  You can see it on this YouTube video.  Please contact Support if the QR code reappears.  There is a link at the bottom of this page.
