Charge 5 would not hold charge for 24 hours. Tried every suggestion. So bought Charge 6, yesterday. Charge will probably last 24 hours, but not much more. Certainly not a week!

A lot of that depends on a few things:
1.) Notifications: how many do you get daily?
2.) GPS: do you use it?
3.) YT Music: do you use it?
4.) Is your device connected to BT? For how long?
Details like these make all the difference, and yes, they do matter!

Having used my Fitbit charge 6 regularly since taking it off the charger for the first time at 18:00 on Tuesday 2nd January, my charge 6 is down to 52%. Display is set to dim, got all sensors on, gps is set to dynamic. I've tracked 3 workouts and have spent a fair amount of time fiddling with it to get to know it.
I'm not doubting your experience at all, it's just very much at odds with mine, which indicates a fault somewhere along the line, or something set that is killing the battery.

I have the same issue. All of a sudden the battery is not even lasting a day.

My wife's Charge 6 is the same - it won't last a day on one charge. I have a Charge 5 and it lasts around a week. She has done various thing that Support have suggested but still no improvement.

Just returning to this thread with an update. Both my partner and my Charge 6 are being charged once a week, and occassionally on the 8th day. They get charged as they hit 20% or just under. If needs be, they could go 9-10 days off the charger.
I sincerely doubt that we got 'lucky' watches, so I can't help but wonder what you need to do with your watch to burn through the battery in a single day.

I deleted Spo app, then updated the watch by pushing the button in the charger and then uploaded the app app again and today the battery hasn’t drained

I have the same problem! My 5 wouldn’t stay charged so I got a 6. The 6 doesn’t stay charged for even 5 hours. And I have it set on dim, no gps, almost everything shut off.

While that sounds like a faulty watch, it would be good to know what things you have shut off.

So I deleted the SpO app, turned off the gps and notifications, reset the watch by pushing the button in the charger. Then I installed the SpO app again and now the battery is working ok. I try to charge it at 40% because I went paranoid 😂 and so far so good

I was able to fix my issue by doing a watch reset from the watch itself.
