Hard reset on Fitbit charge 6 not working

hi I've tried pressing the button on the Charge 6 cable 3 times.. holding it.. holding 3x.. holding for 2 minutes.. nothing happens for hard reset.. what am I doing wrong?

I'm glad to help you with the restart of your Charge 6. 

The restarts available for your Charge 6, you can find them in our help article How do I restart my Fitbit device? below the section "Charge 5 and Charge 6".

You can also follow the instructions of our help article How do I erase my Fitbit device? below the section "Charge 5, Charge 6, Inspire 3, and Luxe" but that depends on what you want to do.
