Charge 6 - Activity Edit

ANSWERED

I used to be able to edit the activity name on my Fitbit Charge 6 eg from tennis to squash. However, a couple of weeks ago, after editing the activity name, it no longer saves it. Can anyone help as it's frustrating.

Thank you, William

Hello @William1965

There is currently a bug that is impacting the ability to edit a completed workout in the Fitbit app. This issue has been escalated to the team and they are working on a fix.

Hopefully, it won't be too long before the fix is rolled out.

Ah that's great thanks, glad it's not just me!

Thank you! I would have started cursing them if they didn’t acknowledge the issue and make it a priority fix. This is why we bought these **ahem** things in the first place! Grrrr!!!

I am noticing the bug remains, unfortunately. The app on my phone won't let me edit my swimming distance.

Hi, any news on a fix yet for this bug since your last post in April?

Still unable to edit the activity name

Thank you, William

Yeah, they haven't fixed the bug yet - they might get round to it
eventually. How hard can it be!

November 2025 and this is still an issue. Unbelievable!

Yeah still not fixed!

I raised this in April 24 & was told the team were working on a fix - thinkbit must've been forgotten about!

You can edit the activity eg tennis to squash, but it still doesn't save it - very annoying.
