Charge 6 - Clock face will not hold

I just updated to Charge 6. The clock face will not hold and flashes to infrared screen. I have tried different faces but still flashes red.  Did I get a lemon and need to return?

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 clock face will not hold and flashes to infrared screen. 
I understand your feelings about this situation. 

Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you have tried. 

Could you please confirm if you tried to restart your device, as explained in the following help article ? How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I did not need to restart. I did take off always on and that seemed to fix the problem. Thank you.
