I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6, because of its capability to do an ECG and to monitor A-fib.
I followed instructions to set up up ECG, but there is no no ECG tile under Health Assessments. Health Assessments has only two tiles (High Heart Rate Notifications and Low Heart Rate Notifications).
I tried:
All to no avail. The ECG tile never shows up.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A04, running Android 14 and Samsung One UI 6.1.

Update. PLEASE HELP!
Since no one has responded I tried a few things on my own. More restarting, un-installing and re-installing.
I have it now narrowed down to a location error:
Here is how I know, when I try to start the ECG from the Charge 6, it will say I need to set up the Fitbit App, and it will send a notification to the phone to set up Heart Rythm Assessment. I read through it and click Continue, then the next screen opens, blank at first and then it says location error.
I live on Guam, which is one of the locations where the ECG feature is supposedly available. I have Guam registered as my location in the profile (and as my home address on my Google account).
The phone is connected to the cellular network of Docomo Pacific (one of the three major providers on Guam), and to Wifi provided by GTA, one of the other three providers on Guam.
Why does it say that this feature is not available in this location???

Hi @Islandbird. This is a user to user Help site and many questions don't get an answer. I think you should contact Support for technical help.

I have so fat successfully used the ecg app on my Fitbit Charge 6 and downloaded my reports via the ECG tab on the phone app. I did this even a few days ago. However today after i did an ecg and collected the data, I see that the ecg tile in the health assessment tab is missing. What is going on and how can i download my reports?

Ok, sorry for the typos above. Forgot to mention I am in the Netherlands. I have been in touch with the ai chatbot and was very unhelpful, but said that my issue will be reviewed and I will receive an email. However, is it possible that some ban has happened and ecg isnt available in the Netherlands, I cannot find any information about this. I can still make an ecg in the fitbit, but I cannot access or download the report, because the whole ECG tab is missing in the phone app.

I have the same problem. The ECG/EKG Health Assessment tile was there and working for a year, until yesterday when the Tile disappeared on my FitBit charge 6 app. The ECG function works fine on the wrist but the data doesn't make it to the phone This is the same for our 2 different FitBit Charge 6's and 2 different Android phone. To confirm we are in the U. S. and so listed in the app on both phone. I've spent hours searching and even left a message for FitBit help to call back--totally useless a no callback happened. I updated apps on phone and even on the wrist FitBit. I think FitBit made a serious change the caused the problem.

I also have the same problem. My ECG tile just disappeared. I am experiencing some issues and wanted to send my DR the ECG report but no luck. It took several months to get the ECG reports to download and now it's just gone!!

I'm having the exact same problem! From Italy

I see we all have this problem, let's keep bugging fitbit service until it's solved. I got this fitbit precisely because it can do an ecg and it was a recommendation that came from my cardiologist, to have some data outside of my regular exams. So this makes me very frustrated.

Both myself & my husband have the same problem... ecg tile is suddenly missing from the health assessments section on the fitbit phone app.. we are in the US. I think it's gotta be some erroneous change in an update. (And we actually have the Google Pixel watches so it's the phone app)

I have the same issue that ECG tile is not visible in my health assessment. I just got my new Charge 6 yesterday and very sad to discover that I cannot use the ECG feature (one of the few reasons I got the Charge 6).
---
Also to mention that I am in the UK. I called Fitbit customer service and after trying the usual trouble-shooting they asked me to send screenshots of the App showing only 3 assessments but not the ECG one. I am waiting for their response.

I'm having the same problem. So annoying as yesterday it was there. As lots of people say this is needed to export the data & send to cardiologist. Really hope it gets sorted soon!

This happened to me too! I have also used the ecg feature and have done everything from deleting my app to restarting my phone and disconnecting and resyncing everything. And still, nothing! My ecg app is telling me that it's full and it won't upload the data I have to my app which is very frustrating as it's syncing all of my other data. The ecg feature is also turned on, I'm in Canada, and I recently updated the app which seemed to cause this issue. Please help!

Same. I'm using it for my heart health because I have paroxysmal afib and need to know when I'm having an episode in order to treat it and calm my heart down!

I'm in the same boat. The ECG tile disappeared last night. I noticed this morning after I'd finally caught an episode of tachycardia on an ECG and went to access the results. I Uninstalled & reinstalled both the Fitbit & ECG apps, started and restarted both my phone and Sense. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon!

Huh. Weirdly reassuring to know I'm not the only one having this issue. I mean, granted, it's rather a bummer to know others are having it, but at least it isn't something I accidentally did.
Yeah, the ECG Tile's disappeared from my Health Assessments section as well. I'm guessing it has something to do with recent phone or app updates, since it was working fine 2 days ago and I noticed it now missing today, and my Galaxy S21 updated to the latest OneUI and Android Version recently. .
Already done the whole 'call tech support and do all the trouble shooting' song and dance and then got escalated after that didn't fix it. Here's hoping they fix it sooner than later; I'm in the 'occasional AFib boat' and besides the workout tracker for enthusiastic walks around the neighborhood and sleep tracking, catching those afibs so I can send a series snapshot ecg to my doctor is one of the main reasons I like the Charge 6.
Good luck, everyone.

The same thing happened to me and I’m in Canada. I was requested by my doc to provide ECGs and now they’re all gone. The tile is missing on my iPad too. This is ridiculous.

Same problem here in Germany, all of a sudden after the update the fitbit app tile disappeared; ECG on the charger works. Please fix it immediately as I need it to monitor my heart health.
By the way, I've been using Fitbit for over a year, and their software development is a real disaster. New bugs are introduced with every update. I'm being abused as a beta tester, even though I pay for Premium. A refund or payment credit would be the least Google should offer!

What a relieve that I'm not the only one. Got my Pixel Watch 3 yesterday and was really bummed to find out the feature wasn't working. Everytime I try to set up the feature, the Fitbit app on my phone shows a blank page. I tried everything I found online and resetting multiple times but nothing works. Also not visible as a tile in the You section in the app. Got really frustrated and afraid that my phone wasn't compatible. I'm from the Netherlands as well. Hope they have it fixed soon!

Bought the charge 6 for this exact reason, relieved to find I am not the only one without the tile. Tried resetting location to US made no difference...

Yep same here, you get the setup sceen in app after the watch sends a notification trigger. Hit 'Get Started' then just a Fitbit title on a blank screen at app...

Both my Charge 6 and Pixel 3 watch now fail to measure ECG as of today. It must be a problem with the latest Google or Fitbit app. I'm in Australia.
