Hello! For some reason my charge 6 recorded my recent swim as a row!! Never happened before with my charge 5s. I can’t seem to change it. Any ideas??

@nicolaWat12 It sounds like you are using Fitbit's auto-recognition (SmartTrack) to track your swims. Both the Charge 5 and 6 have an Auto-Start feature that turns on the Exercise app when certain movements are detect. It looks like the Charge 5 has this option in just the Run and Bike shortcuts. The Charge 6 has it in six shortcuts: Walk, Run, Bike, Elliptical, Rowing, and Spinning. Here's how to turn it off. Swipe left/right on your Charge 6 and open the Exercise app. Select Rowing. Swipe up on the screen and look for Auto-Start and turn toggle it off.

@nicolaWat12 FB auto recognize some movement that corresponds to what exercise it's pre-programmed to recognize (similar movements might confuse it). Better to manually track the exercise for accuracy. My device has always hilariously auto recognize "mountain biking" when I'm pushing a shopping cart full of groceries home.

Thanks! I’ve turned rowing off and am swimming in the morning, so let’s see what happens. My issue is that my 5 always auto detected my swim, my new 6 doesn’t!
often if I cut the grass I’m on a bike ride 😆
