Just got my charge 6 and so far in the first 6 night it shows my sleep start time 2-4 hours later than when I actually go to bed, but the wake up time is correct and the awake data seems accurate in the time it is actually tracking my sleep.

Hello & welcome @Nosleeptilb
You might want to check out this help page which explains how Fitbit devices track sleep (<-- click link).
I've had times when my sleep log doesn't show the correct start time. When this happens, I edit the start time in the Fitbit app. If you would like the instructions on how to do this, check out this help page (<-- click link)

Thanks for this. When I edit the start time it seems to work most days. However, this is still happening every day so I need to go in and edit the start time every day. Needless to say this is not ideal. So it does seem like the app is tracking my sleep during its duration, but for some reason is initially only showing the data with a starting time 2-4 hours after I actually fall asleep. Would be great to get it to show the right sleep period without having to manually adjust my starting sleep time each day. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
