Charge 6 . Firmware update v 220.21 available

We’re excited to announce the firmware update (v 220.21) for Charge 6 is rolling out over the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, @BS8619 considering it is mid October, that is not sarcasm but an honest question. I find it amusing that even though this is a "Charge" forum and thread, the firmware was "listed" for other devices too at the same time on the Google page and... nothing, crickets, about whether or not the firmware was actually even released to these device or someone made a boo-boo when updating that page. There is a question post from a user in the sense 2 forum from September, but replies are disabled (there are no comments on it, just disabled. shhh don't stir the pot further).

its actually funny when a minor update that changess very little gets so much attention. my device not update yet, checking every hour if its there 🙂 🙂 I will tatoo the date it lands 🙂 

its a definite signal that fitbit is dying which a pity.

Makes you wonder if there's anyone left in the Fitbit hardware team at Google.

Am hoping that the Bluetooth heart rate broadcast change in this firmware finally makes it compatible with Garmin device🤞.

I’ve not received the update yet- is it still being rolled out? Hoping it fixes my sleep tracker that hasn’t been accurate in weeks.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to share this. The new sleep graph is really inconvenient and confusing. I had been using an older version of the app since 2024 and never updated it. Unfortunately, my old phone broke, and I had to install the latest version on my new device. I’m very disappointed with how the new sleep graph looks now — it used to be so logical, clear, and easy to understand. I could instantly see when I woke up during the night and how my sleep was structured. Now it feels cluttered and takes much more effort to figure things out. I really hope you will bring back the older, more intuitive sleep graph layout!

I would love to write my thoughts about the update - but I haven't received it so far. Can you tell us how many couple of weeks it could take before all devices get it?

The status? As far as anyone here can tell it's vapourware. One person has mentioned they might have gotten it but not definite. I wouldn't but too much hope that you'll get it any time soon.
