Charge 6 Hourly update not syncing with iPhone ap

Since I got my first Fitbit, the hourly activity synced perfectly to the ap.    In the last week or so, the updates have been spotty.   Some hours synced, some didn't. 

Today I deleted and re-added the ap and followed instructions on turning off bluetooth, rebooting the Charge 6 (three times) and restarting the phone.   Now NONE of my activity hours show up on the ap even though the Charge 6 does record them.

I think I'm experiencing something similar with my Galaxy phone. Lately, even though my Fitbit shows that I reached my calories burned goal, the app says I haven't. I checked the watch at 11:53 PM, I had 2426 calories burned - over my daily goal. The app said I only burned 2412. Do I have to hti the goal a certain amount of time before midnight for it to count or something?
