Charge 6 - Inaccuracy about heart rate readings

I also have a blood pressure monitor and both show bout 70 for resting heart rate. The number on charge 6 rise to about 170 when I start running or fast walking, which is not possible because I'm not running and not breathing that hard. It seems the accuracy is good in low ranges, but will become very inaccurate in high ranges. Any suggestions or method to improve this?
