Charge 6 keeps unsyncing and loses data from prior days

My Charge 6 stops syncing and loses data from the prior days. My Fitbit has not synced for a full 24 hour period. I need to keep resetting my watch in order to sync with my phone but data from the prior days is missing. This occurs every day.

Yeah my wife and I have to constantly restart our phones because it won't sync.  It has happened ever since Google bought fitbit and "upgraded" the app
