Charge 6 - Missing steps

  • I have two days where I had a ton of steps before I went to bed at night. Then the next day suddenly each day showed a zero steps. I have synced a few times, restarted my device and removed and reinstalled the app, restarted my phonr and it is not add the steps back for those two days. I also do not see a way to manually log activity. There was only an option to manually log sleep. Is there a fix for this issue to ensure it doesn't keep happening and is there is there a way to manually add my activity or steps? Everything I'm reading says to go to the activity screen in the app however no such screen appears to exist.

Hello @Mtacy 

I'm not sure why you're no longer seeing the steps that were there before.

I suspect there might be a syncing issue between your data on the Fitbit servers and the Fitbit app. Most likely, your step history was correctly updated on your account on the Fitbit servers since you did see the steps in the app. 

For now, please submit this issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts and submit

The feedback reports are received by the team for review.

If I find any updates on this issue, I'll report back.
