So I updated my Charge 6 this morning (on Android) now the repeating alarms are showing grey with a cross and the only way I can have them on is to have a 1 time alarm any ideas?
I've restarted the watch uninstalled the app on my phone and check DND and sleep mode and neither are on.

Still an issue for me too! Just happened to me this morning and was late for work.

I’m having the same issue with my new Inspire 3. Still works fine on my old Luxe but not on my new watch🤦🏼:female_sign:. Fitbit/Google when will this get a fix?

When is this getting fixed? The alarm was the reason I bought this Fitbit.
A year later and this still happens?
It worked fine and now it stopped working fine.

In for updates. Sometimes my alarms work. Most of the time they do not. Several times I've been awake but just laying in bed waiting for the alarm and it just never happens. This applies to recurring alarms, both fixed time and smart wake alarms.

I have been having the same issue for about a year. I have given up expecting this to be fixed and will just avoid buying Fitbit/Google hardware in future.

This does not work. It’s a problem since the last update and now I can’t set any recurring alarms on my Charge 6. It seems like that’s a basic thing it should be able to do.

Hi David. It’s been 9 months since you said your team was working on this bug. How’s the work coming along? Is there anybody left at Fitbit working on these kind of things?

@DavidFitbit any progress on this issue? Seems like it shouldn’t take 9 months to fix.

Hi everybody, thank you for your responses.
In fact, this bug has been already fixed on the latest version of the Fitbit app. This being said, make sure the Fitbit app is up to date in your mobile. See How do I use the Fitbit app? > How do I update the Fitbit app? for reference.
On the other hand, would you describe the issue exactly as it is stated in the first comment? Does the issue arrive when you set the alarm as recurring? Do you see the icon in gray?

My last update is from 24 december 2025, this is the latest version. And since this update I have this problem.
The icon is grey. I turned them off for the Christmas holidays and when I wanted to turn them on the one with a recurring alarm for the next day stays grey.
So it does not seem like this issue is fixed.

@DavidFitbit I agree with @Tally79 @and my experience is exactly the same. App Version 4.60; Charge 6 Version 20001.220.31.
I set a recurring alarm and it shows immediately as greyed out with a big X on it. How does Google manage to mess up some basic functionality like this? Recurring alarms have been around since the dawn of time and it’s pitiful that this is STILL an issue.

My app is up to date since the last update and it is most definitely not working and has not been fixed. There are so many replies on here from people saying it's still not working despite the update, it's a bit shortsighted of you to suggest the problem still remains with us. It's clearly a Fitbit issue.

I also have the latest App version and I just tried the reoccurring alarm and it turns to the greyed out with a big X on it.

last update is Jan 9th, and i still have this issue on my Charge 6
---
one time alarm works, as soon as you make it reoccurring
its greyed out
---
called tech support and they wanted a video of me setting the alarm and it turning Grey, he tried to tell me this is an isolated issue. i told him to see this message board as it clearly is not. I was able to work around it by setting an alarm M-W, and another Th-Sun for the same time... annoying but it works

Hi everybody, than you for your responses.
Just to clarify, despite the icon shows in grey, you should be able to launch the recurring alarm and it should work as expected.
If your alarm is actually not going off, please reply, so i can research further.

It is not going off. What's more, my one off alarms have now stopped working too! I literally cannot have alarms at all on my watch which is one of the main reasons I got it.
