After more than a year of using my Charge 6, the SpO2 and ECG apps (and possibly others) suddenly went missing this morning. I hadn't changed any settings in the app or on the tracker.
The Fitbit app stated that I needed to install the SpO2 app, but neither that app nor the ECG app was available for my Charge 6 in the gallery. The features were also missing from the Charge 6 itself.
After trying everything I could think of (restarting my phone, clearing the app cache and memory, restarting the watch), the only solution was to uninstall and then reinstall the Fitbit app. After reinstalling, everything was displayed correctly again without needing to manually add the SpO2 or ECG apps.
What kind of bug was this? It's getting really annoying with all the software mistakes over the last year!

The issue is due to ipv6 on your WiFi giving you an ip address on your phone that appears to place you in a country that doesn’t permit the use of the ECG or SPO2 apps. Although I live in the UK and have Google accounts registered in the UK etc, my broadband has 3 ipv6 ip addresses for my iPhone, one of which has a country identifier of Korea. This means my ECG and SPO2 apps disappear when my phone is on my home WiFi and reappear as soon as I drop off or on broadband that is ipv4.
I’ve had this problem for over a year and have given up on Fitbit as a result. It’s very frustrating that this has not been fixed. Surely there must be a better way to check what country you’re in GPS that’s in-built for example. Use a GardPro instead now. Much cheaper and it works
