Hi @RachelGGG I moved your post to the Charge 6 forum. I can't give you a firm answer, because I found conflicting information. This Help article says you can set a PIN code even if you don't plan on making contactless payments. When you tap on the device/battery icon > the device tile > device lock (text, not image) in the device preferences section, it says you must set up Google Wallet first.
