Hello @NantucketTexas

In addition to the recommended troubleshooting steps that MarioSFitbit suggested, I've seen some users report that they were able to get full sleep tracking when they wore their Fitbits on the inside of their wrist. You could try that to see if that helps with your sleep stage graphs.

My Fitbit Ch 6 also stopped listing Rem, Light and Deep sleep. Started to use it one week ago, it worked well the first days. After four nights the problem occurred. I noticed that the only thing that changed was that I set SLEEP MODE to ON. So last nigh I changed back the SM to OFF. And this morning my Fitbit listed the sleep stages correct again😮. I do not know if this is the problem, or if it just suttenly worked OK again for no obvious reason.

Hello @IKE24

It doesn't seem to me that it's clearly stated that when you manually enable Sleep mode on your Charge 6, you will get only the basic sleep graph. You have to let the device automatically detect and track your sleep in order to get the sleep stages graphs.

I rebooted my Charge 6 and that fixed the problem for me. It is now
showing the sleep stages again.

Hello NantucketTexas.
Mine is showing sleep stages again too. I did nothing but change Sleep Mode. No idea why it suddenly works again.

I've had my Charge 6 for a year - for two nights now, it is not tracking sleep stages. I read the link you posted - none apply to me. I've rebooted it a couple of times. I would be VERY grateful for help!

So sorry to hear this! I BOUGHT it for sleep tracking, so I find this problem unacceptable. I went into chat with tech support and got this instruction:

A) Reboot the Charge 6.

B) Make sure heart rate monitoring is on - I accidentally turned mine off - easy to do with a touch screen.

C) If that doesn’t work, go into your settings on the website, click on your device, and set the sleep tracking to “sensitive.” Image attached.

Your settings page is at fitbit.com/settings/device

D) If THAT doesn’t work, try this:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable.
  2. Find the button located on the USB plug of the charger and press 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears. I honestly don't know if this is different from just rebooting it - probably not, but it's what support told me to do.

Hello @Alice_Jane

Now that you've turned Heart rate back on, you'll likely see your sleep stage graphs again.

We'll be watching for your update.

Thank you - not last night because I slept UNDER 3 hours. That's why I got the Fitbit - to help me understand and improve my sleep. And it HAS been - last night was a problem, but I'll sleep tonight.

Mine too!

@RiekoC  YES!! YES!! It worked! WHOOT! I'm happy! I've had sleep issues for years - and the current world climate just - well, if I pay attention to any of it, my sleep is such a mess. At 70, I do NOT need to increase my risk of a dementia! I've been very happy with my FitBit - I'm going to have an in-lab sleep study pretty soon and I'm really looking forward to seeing how FitBit does against EEG.

BTW - we LOVE N Calif. PLUS - we can't get In-N-Out burgers here in Puget Sound. Whenever we visit family in NoCal, we always stop at a couple of those for a protein style double double with cheese. HEAVEN!!

@veryactive  - I got it back! My heart rate was turned off - easy to do with a touch screen. I had no idea! Tech support helped me with that.

Look a couple of posts up for my long post with instructions from support. Maybe one of those will help you. Let us know if it worked!

Hi @Alice_Jane

That wonderful news! Thanks for the update.

I totally agree with you about the current world/US situation. I'm using Mindful meditations to help keep me sane & balanced. If you have the Fitbit Premium subscription, consider checking out the Coach tab in the Fitbit app. There are some meditations that can help with sleep.

Glad you're fans of In-N-Out. We don't have one locally where we live. Thankfully, my husband makes tasty burgers on the grill to go on my homemade burger buns. 😁
