Charge 6 - Too many steps

Hi new to this fitbit but it's showing far too many steps. Not confident as today I haven't been anywhere! Anyone else have this issue please

Sometimes "far too many" is in the eye of the beholder". Are you talking 10 too many or 10 thousand too many?

Yes I have the same problem, about 2 times the number of steps my other devices are showing...

Something else to check is did you set up your phone as a Connected device? To check:

• Tap on the device icon in the upper left of the Today page
• On this page, you should have only a tile for your Charge 6 under Devices and see the option to add your phone under Add connections

If you see your phone under Devices, that means you've set up your phone to track your steps. This option is used to keep tracking your steps when you're not wearing your Fitbit tracker. If you are wearing your Charge 6 and carrying your phone, you'll get additional steps counted from your phone.

You should be able to tap on the phone tile to remove your phone as a step tracker.
