Charge 6 Unable to pair again

  • My fitbit was not syncing so I followed the tips to unpair my device and then add it again but it will not pair with my phone.  I have restarted my phone uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned off and turned on Bluetooth to no avail.  Still says can't find the device.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to pair your Charge 6 again.  I appreciate all the steps you try before contacting. 

Sometimes the device remains in the Bluetooth device list, so I suggest you check if it still appears and if so, please remove it:

  • On your mobile device, go to Settings> Bluetooth.
  • In the list of devices paired with the Bluetooth of your mobile, select Charge 6 and then touch "Forget" or "Unpair" device, the name of the option varies depending on the mobile, on iPhone the option is called "Skip device".

After that try to pair the tracker again: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hiya I've just gons through the same thing and finally reconnected mine. First I rebought the official fit bit charger. Id lost mine and had bought other cheaper versions. So I got the proper one again and did all the restart stuff with it.

Then I looked at my devices on the app. I had an odd pairing to a  phone  which was paired to another device. As soon asi disconnected that one my fitbit turned back on. 

I don't honestly know why these sorted it (or even if they did) but they are worth a shot.

Hi, @Judy1204 , I would recommend letting the Fitbit battery die completely and then recharging it.  Then I would suggest trying the re-set process again.  If it continues to fail the best bet is to get in touch directly with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com .  They will advise on the next steps.
