I can’t reset or change my weight goal. I’ve tried resetting the goal but it just keeps showing my old goal. If I change it to a new number, it continues to show my old goal. Does this feature not work any more?

@DavidFitbit, How do you go from goal to plan? Ksksksks asks about changing WEIGHT GOAL not FOOD PLAN.

Hi @Dawn2007, thank you for your response.
I know it may seem misleading but a food plan helps you achieve and maintain your weight goal. I admit it was my mistake not to clarify that.
It is by setting a food plan where you can establish a weight goal. By controlling how many calories you eat and how many you burn, you'll be in the way of achieving your weight goal.
Read our help article How do I track my food with the Fitbit app? to learn mor about the relation between food plan and weight goal.

So, if I reach my original goal of 200 and I want to change that goal in the Fitbit app to 150, I have to modify my meal plan in order to reset my weight goal in the app?

@Dawn2007 No, you don't have to change your meal plan. You can change your weight goal any time by doing the following. Tap on the You icon in the lower right of your app, then scroll down to Goals. Tap on Health. Tap on Weight and choose you new target.
@Ksksksks Some goal changing issues are app specific. Do you use an Android or iPhone? Can you describe the path that doesn't change?

I have the same problem. I've reset, uninstalled, reinstalled, turned off, turned on, reset again, uninstalled again, reinstalled again - on BOTH my iPhone and my iPad. Same results - the "Set goal" on the Goal Weight and Goal Body Fat % in the settings is unresponsive. Also, from the tile on the home screen, Set A Goal in the Weight Summary is unresponsive. I have a Charge 6, Version 4.52 from the Apple Apps Store. I am not a premium subscribers - does that make a difference?
