My Charge 6 will not sync with the app. To get it to sync, I have to uninstall and reinstated the app DAILY and it is very frustrating. I never had an issue before Fitbit was sold out to Google. Very annoying.

Welcome to the community, @cdjmom.
Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your Charge 6. I understand your concern and before we go through this process, could you confirm if you see an error message when trying to sync? Also, what is the model of your phone?
Assuming you've tried the steps described here, I'd recommend reconnecting your tracker by doing the following:

I had the exact same issue at the original poster, and I tried to follow the exact steps you outlined in your response. However, my charge 6 will not pair back with my phone. My phone searches on a never ending loop and never finds my charge 6 to restart the pairing process. My phone cannot find it through Bluetooth or the app. This is utterly infuriating since I have had the device for less than 2 months!

Hey there @WhiteleyM, welcome to the community!
Thanks for taking the time to explain the steps you've taken. Can you please tell me if you have tried setting up the Charge 6 on another device?
Let's try doing it on a different phone or tablet to see what happens!

This happens to me. I just restart the phone and it will work, but will work for less than a day.
But it is odd. It will keep getting data like steps, and hourly activity. But it will not get battery status.

Same issue as OP for the past week+. I've followed all steps and have to repeat them daily to get it to sync properly. Very annoying...

Hey @MySynpai @ob_tibtif, nice to see you guys around!
Thanks a lot for bringing this to my attention and confirming that you've completed the previously shared steps. Let's start with something easy!
Since there's a significant number of reports, I'd like to gather some important details, such as the phone model you're using and the OS version of these phones. Also the app version you have installed is helpful!
Meanwhile, let's try deleting the Fitbit app's cache and data. This will log you out of your account, so you'll need to log back in. Let's do this and see if the issue is solved.

Thank you for the quick response. I have tried impairing my fitbit, deleting the app, and redoing everything. It still stops syncing after a day.
I'm using a Galaxy S25 base model running Android 15 with the July patch. My Charge 6 is running 66.20001.214.24

I just wanted to say I believe I'm the original poster for that issue, and then it occurred to me that maybe if I ran the diagnostic on my phone it might find a the problem, I did run it through the the whole gamut of things you need to check and everything was A1 ok, then I went back to the app and I was about to close it then all of a sudden it updated and synced with my charge 6, so I am unsure if that is the reason why it finally worked because of the diagnostic that I went through or if it was a Google thing. But after I did that it worked so and so far I have not had any other issues crossing fingers it stays that way.

A few months ago, my Charge 6 started losing the connection to my Pixel 6 phone. The app said it was connected but wouldn't show the battery level and wouldn't sync. My phone's bluetooth settings show the device connected. If I disconnected the Charge 6 in the app and forgot the device in the phone's bluetooth settings, I could then reconnect it in the app. It would work for a few days and then the same thing would occur. I've seen lots of other posts describing this problem and I've tried lots of other solutions (e.g., uninstalling and reinstalling the app), but nothing fixes the problem for good. I don't want to restart my phone or reconnect the tracker every few days, that's no solution at all.
I thought it was the Charge 6 malfunctioning, so I bought a new one. I've had it for a few weeks now and the same thing is happening. So now I'm convinced it's not the Charge 6, it must be either my phone or the app. The app version shows 4.49, firmware version 66.20001.214.24, my phone is a pixel 6 on Android 16

I have the same problem. Have uninstalled app and reinstalled, turned Bluetooth on and off, restarted phone, all multiple times and still will not pair. Did the forget this device and any others. Very, very frustrating.

My charge 6 will no longer sync. Seems like it just started with app update on iOS. I e tried uninstalling/reinstalling app, restarting fitbit, turning off/on Bluetooth, This is yet another thing pushing me away from fitbit once and for all.
