Hi
My Charge 6 suddenly stopped working a few days ago after being fine for the almost 2 years since I got it.
I've tried restarting it via pressing the button on the cable 3 times, all that I can get it to do is vibrate for a second and show the fitbit logo for a couple seconds before going black and unresponsive again. I've noticed that I have to be holding the cable to the back of the device and squeezing a little to get it to do this, I.e. pressing it gently against the back or else it does nothing. I've also tried factory resetting it by holding the button for 15 seconds, but nothing happens, regardless of whether I'm holding the cable as described or not.
The pins on the charging cable and the device itself are both clean. I've tried two different charging cables, one of them brand new, and have tried several different wall chargers and outlets, and it's the same every time. My guess is that it isn't accepting charge at all unless I'm holding the cable as described, which makes me worry that it's gotten damaged somehow. I can't think of anything out of the ordinary that happened to it before this - the battery ran out so I plugged it in as normal and now it's like this. Please help?
