Every time I go to manually track an activity, like strength training, I select the option on my fitbit and then it asks to share HR data to fitbit and keeps buzzing until I select "ok" or "cancel" I like to track my workouts and I use the fitness app "Ladder Fitness". I'm not sure if it is specific to the app, but it also happens when I get on the treadmill and go to select the treadmill activity on the fitbit.
These are the things that I have tried to get this to stop.
- Fitbit has never been paired to Apple Health. It is not listed in my devices. I deleted the apple health app since I don't use it.
- I turned off "Show live HR Chart" in the ladder app.
- I updated the fitbit and checked for updates in the app.
- I restarted the fitbit.
- On the fitbit AZM notifications are on. HR is on.
- I disconnected the fitbit from bluetooth, had my phone forget it, and then re-paired it to the phone.
- On the fit bit, HR on equipment is off
- For some reason on the iPhone there is an icon that pops up when I'm using the fitness app/tracking my workout. It is a blue symbol of a heart next to a person running at the top of the phone in the status bar. I don't know why this is happening because I do not have a personal focus set up for fitness. When I go to my settings it only lists "do not disturb" "mindfulness" and "reduce interruptions"
- In the fitness app apple health sync is disabled, there are no connected devices.
- Deleted and reinstalled the ladder fitness app
- Deleted and reinstalled the fitbit app.
If anyone has any ideas or maybe suggestions on how to try any of these things again in a specific order that would be great. Not knowing how to fix the problem has become more annoying than the problem itself. I'm about to just stop wearing the fitbit.

Hi @sailorneptune! Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I'm sorry to know about this inconvenience.
In this situation, I suggest you unlink the "Ladder Fitness" app and try doing an exercise without using it to see if the message continues to appear. If the message persists even without the app, please attach a screenshot to your reply.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. I don’t have the ladder app linked to anything. It’s just an app installed on my phone.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem. It started after a Fitbit update last year and I’ve never managed to find a fix. It drives me crazy, I just want it to share my heart rate automatically! Especially when I’m riding my bike and have to stop to accept so it won’t continue buzzing endlessly on my wrist!
