Charge 6 auto detects activity

My HR6 still auto detects Activity, like just walking around the house, even though I  changed settings to Ignore .  How to get watch to not display normal activity ?

It keeps displaying a pace until I select Sone on the watch but then it will repeatedly do it as long as I am cleaning

@rthomas268   Your Charge 6 has an additional feature that can open the Exercise app for certain activities.  I will explain the difference with the terms that Fitbit uses.

  • Auto-recognition, also known as SmartTrack.  This is the feature that you control in the Fitbit app.  This is the feature where you can adjust the time to set to ignore.  It sounds like this is the feature you turned off.
  • Auto-start.  This feature starts the Exercise app and is in six shortcuts: walk, run, bike, elliptical, indoor rowing, and spinning.  You control this feature on the Charge 6.  This is the feature you need to turn off.

You need to adjust this in settings that affect you.  Open your Exercise app on your Charge 6 and select Walk.  Swipe up on the screen to see the Walk settings. Look for Auto-start and toggle it off.  Some people wrote that folding laundry can trigger rowing.  Others that swim with SmartTrack say it can also trigger rowing. This feature is on my Sense 2.  I toggled them all off.
