Can someone explain why, after removing the watch for a few days, it still logs steps...even though the watch is sitting on a shelf and has not moved?

Hi @FosterOG ! Welcome to the Community !
I appreciate your message regarding the steps log, even though the watch is sitting on a shelf.
This may be due to the Mobile Track feature. Low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app.
