Charge 6 battery issues

The battery on my Fitbit charge6 has become unpredictable. 
after a fully charge it shows 70% in few minutes and shuts down in an hour. 
on recharging it gets to 100% in no time and after taking it off the charge again shows the same random charge and shuts down. 
Already done the restart, factory reset but the same behaviour continues. This is around 18 months old device.

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 is running out of power faster than expected. I will do my best to help you with this.

• Please check if  your phone OS is up to date. 
• Check if your Fitbit app is up to date, version 4.67. To do so, you can refer to: How do I update the Fitbit app?
• Turn off notifications you don't need, including alerts from your phone apps, alarms, and reminders to move.

Also, charge your Charge 6 to 100% and use it as you normally do until the battery runs out to check if the battery life has changed.

Thank you for suggestions. I did a factory reset twice and it seem to have started working better. Hope it pulls through !
