Agreed the app battery indicator is cr*p. I had my Charge 4 plugged in charging & checked the app - not only was the battery icon all black, the app said battery was full.  Checked the Charge 4 itself & it said 71%.  Not even 3/4 charged!

Yesterday (16 Oct 2023), there was an announcement regarding updates to the Fitbit app including bringing back the % battery life. Click here to read the announcement: Updates to the Fitbit app 

App updates tend roll out gradually. So you might want to keep checking in the Google Play store (Android) / Apple store to see if the update is available for you to install.

Update is not yet available in netherlands. When i ask for an ETA in a review that I try to submit, my review is declined by an automated moderator. Very strange I only politely ask a question

So far, I haven't seen the announcement that the app update has been released. There should be an announcement in the Platform forums (Android & iOS) when the update is available. 

Like you, many of us are anxiously waiting for the update to be available so we can have access to the features that we requested to be returned, like % battery.
