Charge 6 cannot get it to use the same language as the app

I just purchased a Charger 6 and after trying for 2 hours I cannot get it to use the same language as the app. How can this be sooooo difficult?? I followed google tutorials, Youtube advice etc. still not how I want it. For goods sake, just make a simple setting icon where you choose fitbit language, and done! Considering sending it back due to this.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hello @CBX1047

What language are you trying to change to? The Fitbit device should be getting the language from the Fitbit app when it syncs.

Good to see you participating for the first time in the community @CBX1047

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your difficulty with language on your device. Thanks for trying to set it on your own.

As indicated by @RiekoC, the device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account.

Please confirm that you are following the steps listed here: How do I change my language on Fitbit?

Thanks for your help @RiekoC.

I did all of that, more than twice, it’s still wrong, I really expect much more from a Premium brand with a premium price.

honestly, if I would have boght a Chinese watch for 15$ I would have gotten more than what I can see, this product, and its sofware is simply not finished.

Hi @CBX1047. Thank for the response. Sorry to know that you are still experiencing the same behaviour. Please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap the upper right corner in App Settings.
  2. Select time and date.
  3. Tap Location.
  4. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  5. Choose Sweden.
  6. Tap Today tab and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
