Hi,
I left my charge 6 on the table before going to bed. The next morning I found that it's counting 20+ thousands steps by itself. This happens few times already. How to fix it?

Hello @Lsw1604! Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to your Charge 6 counting steps when not wearing it.
My best recommendation would be for you to restart the Charge 6. I'm positive this will help you.

Hi, Thank you for your reply and advice. I did the restart when the problem first occurred. But it does not seem to fix the problem. Now I am trying to place it at different area to monitor if the issue goes away. Meanwhile, any other suggestion is much appreciated.

Hi,
You are right that the false counting is probably due to vibration from the table fan. So far I do not have any issue after placing Charge 6 to different location. It is strange that it only happens to charge 6 but not charge 4 and versa that I put in the same location.
