Charge 6 died during software update

I wasn't aware that my Charge 6 died sometime last Friday during a software update. The screen is black, it will not charge, it will not reset. I've tried multipe chargers & resets. I got it for Christmas so it's only 5 months old. I haven't been able to reach support due to high volumes of requests for days. This is very frustrating! Has anyone had any luck getting the Charge 6 working again or a response from Fitbit on how they plan to address the massive software failure that has deemed new devices useless? 😞

Have you tried the chat option for support? I've used it twice recently with no significant waiting.
