Charge 6 doesn't track floors

ANSWERED

I gather from the Community’s comments that the Charge 6 does not track floors.  If this is so, why on earth do they list it as a tracking tool?!?  Very disappointed!

Hello @Sadaboutthis

You are correct. The Charge 6 doesn't have an altimeter which is used to track floors.

I'm not sure what you mean by "...why on earth do they list it as a tracking tool?!? " Where did you see the Charge 6 listed as tracking floors?

It's listed in the settings area under manage data. I, too, was disappointed that they no longer show up. So now I guess I wear 2 watches...charge 2 and charge 6 so I get the data that I like to see.

Hello @IowaGoldenGirls and welcome to the Community.  All users go to the same Manage Data page, regardless of the model they use.  I want to give you another example.  You upgraded from a Charge 2 to a Charge 6.  The Charge 2 gives active minutes, but the Charge 6 gives active zone minutes.  A model gives one or the other, but both options are on the list.

Fitbit doesn't recommend wearing two Fitbits at the same time.  Fitbit can try to reconcile your data, but you might get wacky results.

Hi @Shorgal and warm welcome to the Community !
I appreciate your message regarding the Charge 6 who doesn't track floors.

There's nothing you can do about it since floor tracking is done using an altimeter, and the Charge 6 doesn't have one.

May I suggest you to take a look into the following help article? How do I get started with Fitbit Charge 6?
