My charge 6 is freezing during my run. It won’t provide real time pace and distance. It won’t let me end the run and forces a hard close. This has been happening several times a week and over the last month. IOS and app are both current and up to date. My friends charge 6 is doing the same but not on the same days.

I really appreciated all the effort you invested so far, I'd love to help you out.
I'd like to mention that we recently released a new Firmware Update for the Charge 6 that includes bug fixes and performance improvements. Please make sure to update the device in order to get this type of issues done.

In order to get a quick resolution that fixes all the problems I suggest trying to factory reset your device.
By doing this, all type bugs that might be affecting your devices functionality. Please follow the steps described here to do the factory reset.
