I recently upgraded my old charge 4 to a charge 6. I have had it for two months now. At first I thought it was running out of batteries because it was going completely dead, but when I plugged my charge 6 it wouldn’t charge either. I push the charger button three times to restart the charge 6 and it comes back to life. Only to find that the battery is not dead, it crashed. This happens weekly. I don’t have to charge my charge because of low battery, I have to put it on the charger because it becomes completely unresponsive… it “crashes”… I can’t figure out what causes this. Should I return it as defective or is there some fix for this problem?
Is anyone else having their charge 6 stop responding and go black with a full or medium full battery? It is really annoying.

Hello @VMHoust
If you've tried the recommended troubleshooting steps without success, it does sound like you might have a defective device.
If you are within the return window from where you got it, you can return it for a replacement. Otherwise, you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). They will likely have you repeat some troubleshooting steps to confirm the issue. Once they confirm that your device is defective, they should let you know what are your options under warranty.

I have the same issue and I know it isn't the battery because it was 100% at 7AM, it is now 3PM, I noticed on a walk it was dead. Last contact with my phone shows it was 97% charged. Some sort of bug.
