Charge 6 language changed from French to English

Hi, I live in France but have always used my Fitbit charges 5/6 in English with no problem.  Yesterday I changed phones from android to apple and now my Fitbit phone is in French although Fitbit app is still in English.  Can anyone advise how to change the language on watch back to  English please? I did try app settings but think I must be missing something.  Thank you.

Just to clarify, Fitbit doesn't make phones.  Are you talking about the Fitbit app on the phone changing languages yesterday?

I changed my phone yesterday from an android to an apple obviously had to
download the Fitbit app for apple. Set it up, the phone has been changed
to English, being a French phone. All good but today I find my Fitbit
watch is in French whereas before they’ve always been in English. Sorry if
I confused u😊
