Charge 6 - missing stats

ANSWERED

Had problems with the app now for two weeks, nutrition facts and exercise tracking. Today I've lost a lot of data about my runs and can't edit them. Walking i can edit, runs i can't, even my maps are now straight lines. May have to swap products after about 8 years of different fitbits. This is the only one I've had an issue with and the only one I've linked to Google.

Hi @ACBlue, Thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.

Let me help you with the recent issues you've been experiencing with your Fitbit App.

The issues you are experiencing with the nutrition facts you mentioned are they related to logging, displaying data ? Can you provide some details of the experience?

In regards the lost data, do you refer to historic data or recent data logged ?

If the data is present on the device but not updating on the app, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I understand your feelings about the recent performance of your Charge 6. I'll do my best to help you.

The nutrition facts is currently showing no fat details for any food,
although if I hit the edit button all details are there. Come out of the
edit section and no fat details appear.
With reference to my running, it's logging everything, but as soon as I
look to edit it, there is no distance to edit. An example is, I started a
run and after approximately 10 minutes I realised I wasn't getting any
voice cues, so I stopped and started again, I wanted to add both runs
together, but no distance showing in the edit section.

Hi @ACBlue, thank you for your response.

There's indeed a bug in the latest Fitbit app on Android where fat-related information is available by scrolling down but there's not such an option to do so. I apologize for the inconvenience, our development team is already aware of the issue and they are looking for a solution. This solution will be released in the upcoming App version. This being said i recommend to keep the app updated to receive a fix as soon as it's released. See How do I use the Fitbit app? > How do I update the Fitbit app?

Regarding the exercise logs, some of the prompts are unable to be edited depending on how they were tracked. If you need to modify some stats that are unavailable in the current log, i suggest that you note the relevant details, delete the activity and then log a new activity filling the parameters you are interested in. See How to add, edit, or delete Fitbit data & activities > How to manually log exercises in the Fitbit app & How to edit or delete an exercise or activity in the Fitbit app.

If you find trouble with the way your Charge 6 tracks your activity, you may find interesting our help article How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device? below the sections "Which activities does my Fitbit device track automatically?" & "Can I change how my activities are tracked?"
