Charge 6 not charging

I didn't wear my Charge 6 for a few months so the battery drained and now it won't charge at all. I have cleaned both the charger and watch back, tried different outlets and different ends. Have left it charge on multiple days and still nothing. If I look at it in the app it says low battery.

Hi, @MVS2024 , sometimes when the battery is allowed to die completely the Fitbit will seem not to be charging when the issue is that it has become unresponsive - that is, it is actually charging but does not seem to be.  In this case, as it has had a couple of hours charging on an outlet and cable known to be working I would suggest trying the restart procedure (the Fitbit must be still plugged in and charging - even if it doesn’t seem to be charging!).

So, while it is still plugged in and charging, using the cable supplied with your Charge 6, you will see a little button on the flat end of the charger (the end that plugs into the USB port).  Press the button 3 times, pausing briefly (about 1 second) between each press.  I find I get the rhythm just right if I say the words while I do the action - press, pause, press, pause, press.  Then wait about 10 seconds and hopefully you will see the Fitbit icon and all will be well.

It is worth trying this procedure a couple of times, as it can be a little tricky to get the rhythm of press and pause just right, and in any case a single restart does not always work.

Moving forward, ideally you should avoid deep discharges of the battery, but a single deep discharge should not do significant harm and hopefully the restart will get you back up and running.

Good luck, let us know how it goes, and welcome to the Community Forums!

Thank you, they had told me to send it back before I could give this a try.
