Charge 6 not good enough

I upgraded to a Charge 6 in September and am most unhappy with its performance in recognising activity. The Fitbit screen shows walk detected and the duration yet on the app, it shows much less than the actual length of time. Example of walking for over an hour, the screen displays walk detected and duration on over an hour, yet on the app it displays 14 minutes. As it’s called a ‘FITBIT’ It is ridiculous that it does not fulfil its function of recording activity of ‘FITNESS’ !

If you have the auto walk feature enabled you may find a slight time difference by 5 to 10 minutes in the app. If on your walks you are taking breaks you may find the app is separating the hour long walk. Do you see many walk activities in app that may add up to your total walk time.? Iv disabled the auto walk feature and the app still records all my walks/times. If that doesn’t work I would recommend you start the walk manually but remember to stop the walk when finished then you should see one walk activity with all the details.
