I received a Charge 6 for my birthday, I have set it up and I receive notifications from our Ring doorbell, but I am not receiving any notifications of texts or phone calls, I have gone through the settings in my account but cannot see how I can change this, anyone know please

Thanks for letting me know about your situation in regards to the calls and SMS notifications on your Charge 6.
My best recommendation would be for you to check you have all well set up, this article can help you to do so. Let me know how it goes once you have checked all these, please.

I have followed all the steps mentioned in this article and still expereince problems.
With charge3 I only had issue with notification when the Fitbit battery was getting low.
With Charge6 I barey get any notification now. It is so frustrtating as those inconvenience add upt o the others ( syncing not reliable, find my phone can not be reliable...) anyway was hoping to get same positive expereince than I had with my old charge3 but so far really desappointed and about to switch to apple watch even though I prefer fitbit ..

I have done everything other users and/or Fitbit support advised to correct this. Still nothing. New Fitbit charge 6 about 2 months old. This was the main reason I got the Charge 6 was for these functions. Can these devices be returned ?

If you bought your Charge 6 directly from Fitbit, I believe you have a 45 day return window.
In any case, you probably should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link) for your warranty options.
