Charge 6 not receiving notifications

I got a new fitbit charge 6 about a month ago and to start with all was fine, but for the last week or so, it hasn't been notifying me when I get a WhatsApp message or texts. I have checked all the settings I can find, made sure everything I want to be notified of is still turned on, and even tried re-pairing device with my phone but still nothing. 

Any help or advice?

Are you getting the WhatsApp notifications on your phone? 

One thing you could try is turning off the WhatsApp notifications in the Fitbit app, sync your Charge 6, turn the notifications back on, then sync your Charge 6 again, followed by a restart. This is what I do when I don't get my hourly activity notification. It might work for your WhatsApp notifications.

Yes still getting notifications on my phone but because I have it on silent 90% of the time, I find it really useful when fitbit normally let's me know when I get any important notifications. 

This sounds pretty much like what I have already tried but thank you anyway. I have given it another go but won't know if it's worked until someone sends me a message 😅
