Charge 6 not receiving notifications

Just purchased a Charge 6 six weeks ago.  I am not receiving notifications ( text msg., phone calls) and hourly reminder to move.  Has anyone else had this issue?  My mobile service representative told me  Fitbit is not compatible with all with mobile phones  - only a few like apple, Samsung, that I would need to purchase a cellular service from Fitbit.  Has anyone else heard of this?  For the cost of the Charge6 I would think this service would be built in the Watch.

It sounds like your mobile service representative was trying to up-sell you. Your Charge 6 doesn't need a cellular service from Fitbit to get notifications. You should be able to get these from your phone after doing a bit of setup.

I’m receiving the hourly notifications but not consistently.  Followed the instructions and still not receiving calls nor text messages.

Thank you for letting us know that you're seeing the hourly notifications, but not consistently. When this happens to me, I turn the Reminders to move, off, perform a manual sync, turn the reminders back on, perform a manual sync, then restart my device. This usually works until my device starts acting up again.

I'm not sure why you're still not seeing your text & call notifications. Have you had a chance to check the setting on your Charge 6 and confirm that Do Not Disturb or Sleep mode isn't turned on. Swipe down from the clock face to find those settings.

Out of curiosity, what phone are you using? Also, what app do you use for texts?

Thank you.  I performed the Reminder as mentioned above. Hopefully this will work.  
my phone is a an android, OnePlus, purchased with T- Mobile.  I use Messages for text
