Charge 6 not receiving notifications

My fitbit charge 6 stopped sending me notifications.

Have you already checked if you have the sleep mode or do not disturb mode activated in your phone or Charge 6?

This happens to me sometimes as well. If you didn't change any settings on your Charge 6 since the last time it worked, restarting the device usually takes care of it.

I’m having the same issue, charge 6 will not vibrate with text/phone/ other notifications. I’ve checked to make sure sleep mode isn’t on, do not disturb isn’t on… I’ve disconnected Bluetooth, reconnected. Signed out of the Fitbit account, signed back in. removed syncing with the phone, then re-synced everything.Not sure what else to do at this point. When you say “ restart the device” am I missing a step?

After you removed the syncing with the phone, then re-synced everything, it's often a good move to restart your Charge 6.

My apologies if you have already reviewed this help page with the recommended troubleshooting steps to try when you don't get alerts from the Fitbit device (<-- click link).

There are different ways to restart the Charge 6:

Option 1:

  • Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  • Tap the Settings app and then Restart Device and then Restart.

Option 2: 

  • Connect your device to the charging cable. 
  • Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Option 3:

  • Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.
