Charge 6 not recognizing excercises

 Hi

My charge 6 is not auto recognizing my workouts. I had a charge 5 before and no problems with recognizing my kickboxing workouts. The charge 6 will put a 50 minute kickboxing session as a 20 minute run. Any ideas how to correct this? It has happened pretty much everytime since I've had the watch, approximately 3 months.

I'm happy to help you with the auto recognition of your activities by your Charge 6.

It may arrive that your device recognizes an activity inaccurately. However, you can always improve its accuracy with some tips you can follow. For more information about it, you can check our help article How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device? below the section "What are some tips to make sure my activity is tracked accurately?"

See if those tips help you improve your experience. You can restart your device as well if you haven't done so:

- Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app .
- Tap the Settings app and then Restart Device and then Restart.

I checked on my fitbit charge 6 and there is an option for kickboxing! So I will give it a try tomorrow! Thank you!

It looks like the Charge 6 doesn't auto-recognize kick-boxing according to this help page (<-- click link). You'll need to manually start & stop your kick-boxing sessions. The good news is that after the first time you select and do your kick-boxing session, that exercise will appear at the top as a recent activity. So, you should be able to easily & quickly select it.
