Charge 6 not synching heart rate graph

This has been going on for a week now, but I apparently just noticed yesterday, I have reset the Fitbit, deleted the app, reinstalled, and still nothing, it registered my highest and lowest, and when I use a different app called Fitbit band, it pulls up the data that I'm missing, but the Fitbit app doesn't, I have checked for updates and nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? The only problem is the other app I can't slide to see the heart rate by the minute like I could with the og app, and I had a episode of something weird when I was at work and I wanted to see if my heart rate has spiked to match also.

Hello @Justy1988

Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? That's the heart rate sensor. To check, place your finger across the back of the device. When you lift your finger, you should see a green light.

If you don't see a green light, double check that it didn't accidentally get turned off:

  • Swipe down from the clock face on your Charge 6 to get to the Settings menu and tap on the Settings tile
  • Swipe up until you see Heart Rate. Confirm that it's enabled.

If the Heart Rate feature is enabled and you still don't see a green light, try turning the feature off, then back on. Sometimes, this will get the sensor working again.

If you still don't see a green light, then you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). If they confirm that you have a defective device, they will let you know what are your options under warranty.

Hello, I have the same problem, my fitbit is working corrrectly on my wrist, counting everything and is syncing to to phone but the HR counter and all the HR graphs won't show on my phone now. It's been an intermittent problem for a few weeks but now is not working at all. Have tried the restart etc as mentioned by the OP. I have a heart problem and need to show the HR graphs to the cardiologist on FRiday. ECG etc are all working and syncing too.

I'm having the same issue. My Charge 5 used to record my heart rate fine and then one day it just stopped and all my historical data for just that subset was missing. They convinced me to upgrade to a Charge 6 which I did. For a few days all the missing data appeared in my account and now its all gone again! It will show my real time heart rate in the app and give a resting heart rate score. But as for being able to pinpoint a certain time in the day and see what me heart rate was, forget it. It's all wiped. They've told me to reset a billion times, update me phone, uninstall, reinstall. Nothing is working. They just keep telling me to call back tomorrow. This is so frustrating. I deeply regret getting premium since I'm not actually getting the data I'm paying for.....

Hello @canobe & @Dajh51

Please confirm if you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? If not, did you try confirming that Heart rate was enabled on your Charge 6?

I think we are going around in circles. Yes, the green light is on. I see
it when I tap it. My current heart reading is always visible. My resting
heart rate is also visible. But when I click on the Heart icon, it says No
Data. This started sometime in November

I sorted this last night.   I done two things, firstly I reverted back to the original Fitbit strap from a 3rd party one I was using secondly, I deleted and reinstalled the app on my iPhone and lastly I restarted the Fitbit charge 6.

this seems to have done the trick and all seems to be working.

My strap is the original fitbit strap. I have reinstalled my fitbit app. And restarted it. And foctory reset it. And unpaired and re-paired it. Nothing has changed. Still no heart rate data.

Yup. Same here. I erased all my data. Factory reset. Restarted everything. No change. Is it possible that this is not working unless you have premium service ?

Hi everyone ! Welcome back to the community !
Thank you very much for your messages about your daily heart rate data, and I am sorry to know you have this problem.
Could you confirm if this situation concerns the "heart" tab and on this tab, you don't see any graphics?
If so, this is a matter that our team is looking into closely.
However, several users found that the issue was resolved by changing the time format of their cell phones from 12 hours to 24 hours (iOS System).
To do this, on your mobile:
Settings > General > Date & time > 24 hours > Slide to ON.
Then restart the Fitbit app (closing it by swiping up), reopen the app and see if the graph appears. This should instantly resolve the issue.
Please always pay attention to community posts, as any news on this subject will be published through this channel.

That worked. But I had to login with a new Userid.

Hi. It was only the graphs that were not working for several days and by changing to a 12 hour clock in the app settings worked. No need for any other actions...didn't even need to close and restart app.

Thanks

That worked to bring back all my heart rate graphs that have been missing but only if I leave it on 24 hour clock. However I cannot read a 24-hour clock. Can you tell us the fix for those of us that need our clocks in 12-hour?

Hello @Sisyphus12345

Using the 24 hour clock format is currently a workaround for the heart rate graph.

Unfortunately, until there is a fix rolled out for the issue, the option would be to switch to 24 hour format when you want to check your heart rate graphs, then switch back to 12 hour for normal use. It's not a very ideal solution.

Thank you for the information. Hopefully they will be able to find a way to fix it. I really use it primarily for heart rate monitoring while I figure out some autoimmune issues - it used to be so easy to use.

Hello @Sisyphus12345

I saw a Moderator post from 07 Jan 2025 saying that an update will be rolling out soon and have seen some users reporting that they've gotten an app update this week.

Although I don't have any confirmation, I'm hoping that this update will fix the issue with the heart rate graphs.

Keep checking your app store and install the update when it's available to you. If I see confirmation that the update fixes the heart rate graph issue, I'll report back.

If this is a fix, why on earth don’t the support team know this?! Already investigating alternative devices….🤦‍:male_sign:
