Charge 6 not tracking floors

My new Charge 6 is reporting 0 floors since I started wearing it. I am fully aware the device does not offer an altimeter.  That being said, my question is:  If the device does not have an altimeter, why does my device display 0 floors?  That is a lie and it should not be part of the display...0 Floors.jpg

The 3 chevrons is the symbol for Active Zone Minutes, not for floors.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
