I am trying to setup my new Charger 6. I am pairing it with a Samsung. I'm able to pair it to the app by entering the 4 digit code that pops up on watch. The Charger 6 screen continues to saying to download the app. Which I already have on my phone and have already synced device. I can tell the device was synced because the app has it listed. It requests to do software update. I go thru the steps and watch begins update and then it stops. Here are all the steps I've taken:
- restarting phone
- uninstalling and reinstalling fitbit app
- forgetting device in my Bluetooth settings
- going to the app to add and replace device
- attempted to power off watch by holding button down for 15+ seconds. Watch will not power off.
*phone is literally right next to watch
*watch was plugged in while going thru all steps
* force stopping the app, then rebooting the phone and setting up watch
*pressing button on side of watch 3 times to try and reboot
I don't know what else to do. Tempted to go back to store and exchange it.
