Hello
I have previously used a charger 4 and recently updated to a 6 as the notifications stopped working and I wanted an updated model.
Initially the notifications started working (messages and phone calls) but now do not work at all. I have not been able to get the wallet to work from day 1. Previously used the wallet 100% of the time on my charger 4. I have an Apple iPhone 11 and have migrated my Fitbit account to google. I don’t know if this is why the wallet is not working. The GPS has not worked from day 1. Find my phone is no longer working. Syncing only occurs manually.
I have also read on one of the comments, the charge 6 can be reset by pressing buttons on the charger once attached to the Fitbit. I have no buttons on the charger!
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks Dori

Hi, @Wheelergd , what you were reading was instructions for re-starting your Charge 6. The full instructions are here . A restart is always the first troubleshooting step whenever your Fitbit is not behaving as expected. A restart may solve some of the issues you have been experiencing.
Please note that although the Charge 6 doesn’t not have an obvious button, it has a “haptic” button meaning it will react to being pressed, I find the easiest way to engage the button is to gently squeeze the sides of the Fitbit between my finger and thumb.

Thank you Julia_G
I have reset the charge 6. I have also disconnected it from my app. Reloaded the app. Reconnected the charge 6 again. Same results unfortunately. Can you advise the best way to source a replacement fitbit charge 6.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi, @Wheelergd , I am sorry to hear that the restart did not solve your issue. The best next step for you would be to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.fitbit.com .

Wheelergd, if you ever get it fixed, please post what you did. The only info that ever seems to be posted is to restart the Charge 6 and iPhone, which has never worked for me.

I have a Fitbit charge 6 since December 2023 and only twice of a dozen times does the gps work on a bike ride. What’s up with that?

Hello - I am happy to let you all know the wallet and GPS are now working with no problems after upgrading to a iPhone 15 from the iPhone 11. Maybe I should have been aware of this but Fitbit maybe able to shed more light. I ensure the syncing is occurring periodically and I also reset the charge 6 periodically when Bluetooth connection seems to be lost. Much happier customer 😊 Cheers Dori
